Glomac aims to promote the values of a caring society and to encourage the practice of giving back and serving the community. With the encouragement of the Board of Directors, we continue to support programmes in aid of needy and charitable causes.
Glomac aids victims in Johor
The recent floods that hit Johor were some of the worst in over 100 years. As the nation pulled together to help the flood victims, Glomac went to Kota Tinggi, one of the most affected areas, to lend a helping hand. We donated much needed materials such as mattresses, pillows, and cooking gas, which were sent to the collection centres there. With the help of the authorities and Majlis Daerah Kota Tinggi, these donations were later distributed to the flood victims in the relief centres.
A helping hand for St John Ambulance
Glomac has generously donated office space located in the basement at Kompleks Kelana Centre to St John Ambulance organization. Now the brave and selfless men and women of St John Ambulance can regularly practice their life-saving and emergency skills at the designated area.
St John Ambulance also intends to use the area to train new recruits in their various public safety and health programmes. For us, it is another way to show our support for the community.
Plaza KJ walkway
Plaza KJ, a joint venture commercial development between PKNS and Glomac will be equipped with sophistically-designed plazas,
shelters and a walkway cum jogging track surrounded by lush greenery and the natural environment along the existing retention pond. The main characteristic of this corridor is that it will link the existing community with the existing natural characteristics of the pond.
In addition, the walkway will also act as a transition point for all the existing housing areas to the proposed commercial area. This development will be designed as an environment with a natural and serene ambience with green terrain, simplicity in landscape and coolness in air that will give excitement and enhancement to the whole community.
