KUALA LUMPUR: The Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, and Tengku Permaisuri of Selangor, Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin Abdul Rahman, grieve the passing of Puan Sri Zainun Yaacob, wife of Glomac Group founder Tan Sri Mohamed Mansor Fateh Din.

In a Facebook post on the Selangor Royal Office’s page, Their Royal Highnesses extended their condolences to Zainun’s family.

Zainun, patron of Persatuan Wanita Islam Prihatin (PWIP), was a close friend of Her Majesty.

The post read:

“Her Majesty was deeply shocked and saddened by this sorrowful news. The Royal Highnesses have conveyed their heartfelt condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased and pray that her soul rests among the righteous.”
